The service
Short answer. A complete extension fitting at your home, hotel or office, with the same equipment and materials used in the studio.
The stylist arrives with everything. Keratin pliers, protector discs, removal tools, remover solution, the strand rack, the full shade stock and portable lighting for colour matching.
You need somewhere to sit and a plug socket. We bring the rest.
This is not a reduced version of the service. It is the same service, moved to you.
Home or studio
Short answer. Only the location changes. Materials, technique, bond weight, guarantees and timings are identical.
The only thing that changes is the address.
| Point | In the studio | At your home |
|---|---|---|
| Bonds | 0.2g, 0.3g, 0.5g | the same |
| Keratin | Italian, 200°C | the same |
| Hair | Slavic and baby hair, 300+ tones | full stock travels with us |
| Colour matching | three light sources | portable lighting |
| Fitting time | 3 to 5 hours | 3 to 5 hours |
| Guarantee on work | 3 months | 3 months |
| Guarantee on hair | 12 months | 12 months |
| Journey for you | to Catford and back | none |
Quality
Short answer. No. Quality drops only when a stylist arrives without the full stock and matches colour by guesswork, which is exactly why we do not work that way.
Let us be honest about where this worry comes from. Some visiting stylists in London carry a limited selection of strands, because hauling the full stock is heavy and expensive. Colour then gets matched from whatever happened to be in the bag, and if the exact tone is missing they take the nearest one and hope the client will not notice.
We bring the whole stock. More than 300 tones, every length from 16 to 28 inches, baby hair for the hairline. The matching is as fussy as it is in the studio, because there is something to choose from.
The second cause of a quality gap is lighting, which is the part of mobile work people underestimate most.
Colour
Short answer. We bring portable lighting and check the shade under two light types, because household lamps are almost always warm and distort colour.
This is where mobile work genuinely carries risk. The studio has three permanent light sources, daylight, warm and cool, and every strand is checked under all three. In your home the lighting is most likely a warm bulb or a warm LED, because that is what people choose for living rooms.
Warm light hides ash and adds gold. A shade matched only under it will look nothing like what you saw when you step outside the next morning.
So we work like this. In daylight hours we match by the window, in natural light. We then switch on the cool lighting we brought and check again. Only a strand that agrees under both goes into the fitting. For evening appointments we move the colour matching to a daytime consultation or to the studio.
Where we travel
Short answer. Central London. Mayfair, Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Notting Hill, Holland Park, Hampstead, Greenwich and Canary Wharf.
Ten areas, and each has its own reason why clients choose a mobile fitting.
Mayfair. Townhouses and apartments where privacy matters more than anything else.
Knightsbridge. Often preparation for an event, when there is simply no time for travel.
Chelsea. Frequent requests before weddings and family occasions.
Kensington. Clients with small children who find it easier for us to come to them.
Belgravia. Quiet flats, an unhurried pace, long appointments without rushing.
Notting Hill. Creative professions, flexible schedules, frequent evening bookings.
Holland Park. Family homes with good daylight, which is ideal for colour matching.
Hampstead. Houses with stairs, where a mobile fitting saves clients with limited mobility a whole day.
Greenwich. Closest to the studio, so this is where refits at home are most common.
Canary Wharf. Demanding work schedules, with lunchtime and evening bookings.
Not sure if your postcode is covered? Send it to WhatsApp and we will tell you plainly whether we travel there. Sometimes yes, sometimes no, but you get the answer immediately rather than after a long exchange of messages.
The hair
Short answer. Premium Slavic and uncoloured baby hair, single donor, more than 300 tones, lengths from 16 to 28 inches.
The stock comes in full rather than in part. That matters, because matching from a limited selection is the main reason mobile fittings sometimes come out worse than salon ones.
Our hair is single donor with the cuticle intact and aligned, never acid washed and never silicone coated. It is double drawn, so the ends stay thick rather than tapering away. Baby hair, the finest grade and never dyed, goes along the hairline and at the temples with the lightest bonds.
Every set carries a 12-month quality guarantee. Origin and quality documentation is shown on request, in your own home.
Timing
Short answer. Three to five hours for a full fitting, plus around half an hour for setting up and packing away.
The time depends on the bond count and on colour complexity. Work with four or more shades takes longer, because the stylist checks the shade map before every strand.
A refit takes two to four hours. A removal takes about an hour.
Plan the day so you are not rushing. Extensions fitted in a hurry are extensions that need doing again.
Preparing
Short answer. Clean dry hair, a chair with a straight back, a plug socket nearby, good light and clear space around the chair.
Wash your hair the night before or that morning. It must be clean, completely dry and free of styling product. Keratin will not grip a strand carrying oil, conditioner or hairspray.
Some mobile hairdressers advertise that you need not wash beforehand, since they handle everything. For a cut, a blow dry or colour that is true, because the hair gets washed as part of the service. Keratin bonding is different. The bond has to fuse directly to a clean, dry strand, so any residue of oil, conditioner or product sits between the two and weakens the grip. Arriving with clean dry hair is not an inconvenience we pass to you, it is the condition the method requires.
A chair with a straight back. A kitchen or dining chair is ideal. A sofa or an armchair will not work, because the stylist needs access to the back of your head.
A plug socket near the chair, since the pliers run on mains power throughout.
Clear space around it, roughly a metre on each side, so the stylist can move all the way around you.
Good lighting. Best of all is a window in daylight hours, and we bring extra lighting.
A mirror is not essential, but pleasant for watching the result take shape.
Nothing needs buying. No towels, no gowns, no consumables, we bring all of it.
What we bring
Short answer. The full hair and shade stock, all equipment, consumables, a gown, removal products and portable lighting.
The stylist arrives with two professional cases. Tools in the first, hair in the second. That makes setting up in your home quicker and means nothing gets left behind.
Professional keratin pliers with temperature control. Protector discs that shield the surrounding hair. The full stock of premium Slavic and baby hair, more than 300 tones, lengths from 16 to 28 inches.
Removal tools and remover solution. Combs, clips, a gown, disposable wipes. Portable lighting for colour matching. A brush or handheld vacuum for clearing up afterwards.
You spend nothing on preparation and borrow nothing from a neighbour.
The bonds
Short answer. The same three weights as in the studio. Invisible 0.2g, nano 0.3g and micro 0.5g, usually mixed across zones of the head.
The industry standard bond is one gram per strand. Our lightest is five times lighter and is pressed flat to under a millimetre after activation.
Bond weight does not change on a mobile appointment. That matters, because some visiting stylists use heavier bonds to work faster, and the difference lands on your roots.
The keratin is Italian, a hot melt copolyamide activated at 200°C. These pre-bonded strands are known as K-tips or U-tips, after the shape of the keratin tip. No metal, no glue, no tape.
Hotels
Short answer. Yes. We work regularly in central London hotels, including rooms with limited space.
A hotel often suits better than a flat, for one reason. There is almost always a large mirror, good lighting at the dressing table and a chair with a straight back.
Let reception know a specialist is coming. In most hotels this is no problem, but it is better to check in advance than to explain in the lobby.
The service is popular with clients visiting London for a few days, and before weddings and photoshoots.
Evenings
Short answer. Yes, by appointment, including evenings and weekends when the time is agreed in advance.
A fitting takes several hours, so an evening booking means starting by a certain time. We agree the exact window on WhatsApp. Same day appointments are occasionally possible when a slot opens, and for an emergency before an event it is always worth asking.
The only restriction concerns colour. For an evening appointment the shade is better matched beforehand, in daylight, at a separate consultation.
The methods
Short answer. Only bonded extensions are fitted properly at home. Clip-ins you can do yourself but they do not stay, while tapes and wefts are rarely done at home and usually done badly.
Clients who have tried cheap home options and been disappointed usually end up with bonded extensions. The difference is that here a specialist works with proper equipment rather than you in front of a mirror.
| Method | Possible at home | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Keratin bonds, ours | yes, professionally | a full result identical to the studio |
| Clip-ins | yes, by yourself | removed every evening, tug the root, visible in movement |
| Tape-in | sometimes | the adhesive strip shows through, refits every 6 to 8 weeks |
| Sewn wefts | rarely | needs a stitch line, pulls along it, usually done poorly |
| Micro rings and nano rings | yes | metal at the root, a hard pressure point |
Who it suits
Short answer. Mothers with small children, people with demanding schedules, anyone who values privacy, clients with limited mobility, and anyone preparing for a wedding or a shoot.
| Who | Why home suits better |
|---|---|
| Fine and thin hair | the 0.2g bond adds thickness without weighing the root |
| Damaged hair | the lightest attachment while the hair recovers |
| Short and curly hair | short hair worked with from 3 cm, curls matched to your pattern |
| Postpartum shedding | the lightest attachment once shedding has settled |
| Mothers with babies | your child is with you, no half-day childcare needed |
| Demanding schedule | no travel and no waiting |
| Privacy matters | no onlookers, no salon conversation |
| Limited mobility | no journey and no stairs |
| Recovering from illness | the comfort of your own surroundings |
| Preparing for a wedding | the stylist comes to where you are getting ready |
| Visiting London briefly | we work in hotels |
| Hair loss and self-consciousness | a fitting without an audience |
Refits at home
Short answer. Yes. Refits, removals and re-tipping are done on mobile appointments exactly as in the studio.
A refit takes two to four hours. Bonds are released with solution, the hair is cleaned, the strand is re-tipped and placed closer to the root.
A removal across a whole head takes about an hour. Afterwards the hair is washed and examined strand by strand.
If you are refitting, your hair goes back on the same visit. Donor strands are not thrown away, they are re-tipped several times.
Your stylist
Short answer. A named stylist, DBS checked, with a VTCT Level 3 qualification and more than 18 professional certificates, working in London since 2016.
Letting someone into your home for five hours is a decision, and it deserves proper answers rather than reassurance.
You get the name in advance. Before the appointment you are told who is attending, so nobody unexpected arrives at your door.
DBS checked. The stylist holds a current Disclosure and Barring Service check, and the certificate is available to view on request.
Qualified, insured and documented. VTCT Level 3, more than 18 professional certificates, professional insurance in place, and material documentation including the certificate of analysis and REACH compliance confirmation for the keratin and the hair.
Traceable work. Genuine reviews and before and after photographs of real fittings are on Google and on Instagram. No invented stories, just results you can judge for yourself.
Meet first if you prefer. Come to the studio for the consultation, then have the full fitting at home once you are comfortable.
The cost
Short answer. The work itself costs the same. Only the travel is discussed separately, and we state that figure before you book.
Some London salons charge a fixed travel supplement, others fold it into the price. We discuss it openly at the free consultation, before you decide anything.
What affects that figure is the area, the journey time and the time of day. What does not affect it is the quality of the work, the bond weight or the hair, which are identical everywhere.
Pricing
Short answer. Price depends on bond count, strand length, colour complexity and the area we travel to. We quote in writing after the consultation and then fix it.
We do not publish a price list, deliberately. Two clients with the same hair length can need very different quantities of hair, so a published figure would either undercut and rise on the day, which is the complaint we hear most often about other salons, or frighten off someone the service would have suited.
Your quote is written down before you book and does not move afterwards. There are no hidden charges.
The in person consultation with 5 trial bonds costs 50 GBP and comes off the full set.
Photographs of your hair and your area. We confirm within the hour whether we travel there.
Hair assessment, bond weight, colour matched under two lights, five trial bonds.
At your home, hotel or office. Two cases arrive, tools in one, the full stock in the other.
A written plan for your hair and your life, then WhatsApp support throughout.
Booking
Short answer. Three steps, starting with a free WhatsApp consultation.
Step 1. Send photographs of your hair in natural, unwashed condition to WhatsApp on 07465656570, along with your postcode and preferred time. We reply within 30 to 60 minutes at any hour and confirm whether we travel to your area.
Step 2. Consultation for 50 GBP. Hair assessment, bond weight selection, colour matching and 5 trial bonds. At the studio or at your home.
Step 3. Full fitting in 3 to 5 hours at your home, hotel or office. Guarantee of 3 months on the work and 12 months on hair quality.
Step 4. Before leaving, the stylist writes out an individual aftercare plan for your hair structure and lifestyle, names specific products, demonstrates the washing and detangling technique and books your refit date. After that you have WhatsApp support around the clock for the whole wear period.
Our standards
Short answer. The same as in the studio, plus several rules that apply only to visiting work.
The full stock comes with us every time. We do not match colour from whatever fitted in the bag.
Colour is checked under at least two light sources, daylight and the cool lighting we bring.
The pliers are always at 200°C, and equipment is checked before every appointment.
Tools are disinfected between clients and consumables are single use.
The working area is covered, and we clear up before leaving.
The gap from the scalp, the bond weight and the flat-press technique are identical to the studio.
Every fitting is documented, with before and after photographs, bond count and weight, and the shade map.
We decline when extensions would cause harm, exactly as we would in the studio. With active shedding, hair broken at the root or an inflamed scalp we postpone and refer you to a doctor.
Guarantees
Short answer. Three months on the work, twelve on the hair, and support throughout.
Guarantee on the work is 3 months. Any bond that slips is refitted free of charge, and that applies on mobile appointments too.
Guarantee on premium Slavic and baby hair quality is 12 months, including protection against tangling.
WhatsApp support around the clock for the whole wear period.

FAQ
Yes, provided the stylist arrives with the full stock. Quality drops when a travelling stylist carries only a limited selection of strands and matches colour from whatever is in the bag. We bring more than 300 tones, every length from 16 to 28 inches and baby hair for the hairline, plus portable lighting, so colour is checked in natural daylight and again under cool light. Bond weight, keratin temperature and technique are identical to the studio.
You are inviting a specialist holding a VTCT Level 3 qualification and more than 18 professional certificates, working in London since 2016 with more than 2000 restorations completed. The name of the attending stylist is given before the appointment. Qualification documents, certificates and material documentation are shown on request. Genuine reviews and photographs of real work are on Google and Instagram.
Yes, the night before or that morning. Hair must be completely clean, fully dry and free of styling product, because keratin will not bond to a strand carrying oil, conditioner residue or hairspray. Do not apply serums or leave-in treatments on the day. Damp hair on arrival has to be dried first, which uses appointment time.
Three to five hours for a full head of 200 to 450 bonds, depending on bond count and colour complexity. A half head takes less, usually two to three hours. Work using four or more shades runs longer, because the stylist checks the shade map before every strand. A refit takes two to four hours and a removal about an hour.
