That is not a boast about volume. It is the reason the work looks the way it does. One pair of hands means one standard, one colour eye, and one person who remembers what your hair was like eight weeks ago and what it can take now.

Most Women Arrive Here After Being Told No

The brief I hear most often is not "make me longer". It is some version of "I was told my hair is too fine for this".

Sometimes that came from a salon that only works with heavy bonds. Sometimes it came from experience, because a previous set was fitted with capsules several times heavier than the hair could carry and it took the client's own length with it when it came out. By the time these women sit down here, most have stopped believing that extensions for fine hair are possible at all.

They are, and the difference is weight.

The invisible bond I use weighs 0.2 g. Nano bond is 0.3 g. Micro bond is 0.5 g. The industry standard is a full gram. On fine or thinning hair that is not a specification detail, it is the whole question. It decides whether a set grows out clean or costs a woman her own hair at the root.

If your hair has already been damaged by a previous set, that is not a reason to stay away. Correction work is a large share of my diary.

The consultation on WhatsApp costs nothing, and most questions are settled there with a few photographs of your hair in daylight.

£50 in the Studio

In person it is £50, and that comes off the price of your set. It includes a five capsule test on your own hair, so the decision rests on what your hair does with a bond rather than on a photograph of somebody else's.

Against your own ends, in the room. Not from a screen and not from a shade chart photographed under salon lights.

A Number and a Plan

Before anything goes in. If the honest answer is that your hair should not take a full head yet, I say so, and I tell you what would need to change first. I would rather lose the booking than fit a set that costs you your own hair.

The Training Behind the Work

I hold more than eighteen professional certificates, earned between 2016 and 2026. Sixteen of them are reproduced in full on the certificates page, each naming the school that awarded it and the date it was signed. Nothing there is self declared.

Two of them matter more than the rest to somebody deciding who should touch her hair. The 2020 course is independently accredited by The CPD Group under activity number 1008067, which anyone can verify directly with the accreditor rather than taking my word for it. And in 2025 I completed the International Trainer Programme at advanced level, which means teaching the method to other professionals rather than only performing it.

The rest is not decoration either. The keratin bond and invisible capsule qualifications are the technique itself. Chemical safety and infection control cover what happens at removal, when solvent sits against the scalp, and what a long appointment with constant contact near the skin asks of a studio. The fine hair and V-Light training is precisely why the women who were turned away elsewhere are the ones I see most.

Honest Limits

A page like this is usually where a studio claims it can do everything. Here is what I will not do.

No Full Head on Hair That Cannot Carry It

However much somebody wants it. The weight has to be right first, and sometimes that means a partial set or a wait.

No Twelve Month Promise on Bleached Ends

Hair that has been lightened to breaking point will not hold a set for a year, and saying otherwise sells you a disappointment.

No Firm Price From a Photograph

Colour and density decide the strand count, and a photograph hides both. You get a range now and a figure after the consultation.

If that costs me a booking, it costs me a booking. It also means the sets you see in the gallery are on real clients with real hair, most of them fine.

Some clients book at home because leaving the house has become difficult, and those appointments are paced around the person rather than around the diary. That is also why I hold a care qualification in the principles of dementia care, which is an unusual thing for a hairdresser to have and an entirely practical one.
